Armon Hanatziv (Governor’s Palace) Forest

 Urban Nature Survey Site No 70. Adjacent to the UN Headquarters in East Talpiot, near Daniel Yanofsky Blvd. Large pine tree grove with veteran trees along the Armon Hanatziv mountain ridge, interconnected with the Armon Hanativ Promenade, rows of ancient olive trees, rocky slopes covered in Mediterranean scrub and other annual plants. Birds common to urban areas nest at the site, particularly falcons and hawks, rarely found in this   area. Pedestrian, car, public transportation and wheelchair access, parking facilities available.
