Mishkenot Sha’ananim Park

Well developed urban nature park, rich in plant life. Foraging grounds for insect eating bats. The site features cultivated gardens with mature and ancient trees. It has landscaped areas along side indigenous natural vegetation such as Mediterranean trees and shrubs, and remnants of ancient olive groves. Burial caves and rock formations in the area sport typical cliff vegetation. Birds common to urban areas inhabit the site, feeding off of local olive and oak trees, as well as rosemary bushes that grow abundantly in the area. Pedestrian, car, public transportation and wheelchair access, parking facilities available.
