The Moon Grove

Pine tree grove and field overgrown with wild vegetation, one of the few remaining natural biodiversity sites in the central area of the city. Also includes a botanical garden and an orchard on the grounds of the nearby historic Hansen Hospital. Mature pine trees, including Mediterranean shrubs and trees. Concentrations of geophytes and herbaceous vegetation grows naturally between the rock formations. Planted olive trees in the southern part. A variety of animal species habitat the site. The grove serves as a nesting grounds for falcons and owls. Pedestrian, car, and public transportation access. Parking available
