Nahal Zimri

  Open ensemble on the northern periphery of the city, east of the National Watershed Line. Rich in desert species, creek, rock flora formations, herbaceous areas and scattering of forest trees damaged by grazing. Concentrations of geophytes, gazelle population, and rock hyraxes. Significant birding site. Eastern done acts as insect refuge in spring. Pedestrian, car and public transport access, parking facilities available
