Emek Tzurim

  Open ensemble with rural character, part of the Holy Basin National Park, which includes the Old City Walls. The site preserves the traditional landscapes of the Mount of Olives, with ancient olive tree groves, Mediterranean woodland oaks and Middle Eastern scrub vegetation. Significant bird watching site with avariety of species, some rare in the region, also small mammal species and reptiles. Red falcon hunting site in spring. Pedestrian, car, and public transportation access, parking available.

Mount of Olives
Situated on the western slopes of the Mount, near the Hebrew University and the Church of Augusta Victoria at the upper part of the Kidron Valley. Adjacent streets include Yitzhak Hanadiv and Martin Buber.
