Ramat Rachel Compound

Wide-open natural ensemble with pine trees, olive groves, orchards, herbaceous shrubs, annualvegetation and archaeological sites. Remnants of important rare plant species including “red Jerusalem” cover the chalk and limestone rock.   Songbirds populate the area in large numbers all year round. Foraging ground for porcupine. Reptiles populate the desert shrub areas. Pedestrian, car and public transportation access, parking facilities available.
