Nachal Refa'im (River Basin)

This great ecological corridor comes to Jerusalem from the Southwest. There are a number of springs, white eye and eye Scabious. The site is very rich in flora and fauna, archaeological remains and traditional agriculture. The center of the stream passes a railway to Jerusalem Road Walaja. A variety of habitats and plant systems in this extensive area include planted forests, Mediterranean woods, orchards mountain, mountain farming, growing daughter, Flora Springs, ancient trees and carpets of flowering. Deer were observed on Israeli, Fox, and woodland birds, reptiles and insects. Green toad and frog streams can be found in springs. The site is accessible pedestrians and vehicles (there is parking).
