Soreq River (Upstream)

  Large natural open ensemble with planted woodlands, rugged slopes and Mediterranean scrub lands. Most of the area is covered with dense scrub including prickly burnet, cistaceae and thyme. Significant habitat for a variety of animal species. A herd of gazelle roam the site. Rock hyrax, different types of song birds, small birds of prey, as well as reptiles and insects are also common to the site. Pedestrian access.
