Shimrit

The garden is named after Shimrit Ginot, a local resident who maintained the garden single handedly for many years, until she was killed in an automobile accident in 2009. Since then, neighborhood residents have assumed responsibility for the garden and conduct activities there in her memory. A very large garden with a wide variety of vegetation, benches for relaxation, grape vines suspended on trellises, a composter and a recycling center
