Bible Lands Museum

The ancient world, from the dawn of civilization to the Early Christian Era, comes alive at Jerusalem's Bible Lands Museum. Here, visitors can explore the treasures of the past and learn about the daily lives and religious rituals of the peoples of the bible. It is the only museum of its kind in the world where the civilizations of the Ancient Near East are brought to life from prehistoric times until the Byzantine period. Since opening its doors to the public in 1992, the museum has earned international acclaim as a universal center for cultural and educational programming. Museum guided tours are available throughout the year at no additional charge.
