Centre for Independent Living (CIL)

CIL is an organization run by people with disabilities for people with disabilities. Conceptual foundations of the organization's activities is that the people with their own limitations, not the professionals, they will determine what assistance they should receive, how they want to receive the assistance, when get it and from whom. demonstrated by their inter alia that both policy makers and service providers in the center are people with disabilities. organization works to promote an egalitarian and tolerant, and helps people with disabilities lead independent lives by providing consulting and support services and by creating a community of equals. center of Jerusalem is local organization seeking to enable people with disabilities life individually and satisfying. center combines services with the activities of advocacy and social change, and offers its services to all people with limitations and their families living in and around Jerusalem. center you can get knowledge services, technical assistance or other assistance related to disability and in connection with municipal institutions, agencies providing social services, business organizations, clubs and private parties, etc.. among its various activities of the center: consulting colleagues, computer room is available and courses for computers, workshop design aids, conferences and seminars, community Theater, exhibitions and newspaper published by the association.
