Augusta Victoria Hotel

Hospital Augusta Victoria is situated high up in the northern end of the Mount of Olives. This large, impressive building was built by the Germans and was named after the German Empress Augusta Victoria came with her husband Emperor Wilhelm II to visit Jerusalem in 1898. Today the hospital serves mainly the Arab population, and is called the mouth as "Almtlah".
