Bank Leumi

Former home of the Anglo-Palestine Bank, this landmark building was constructed in the 1930’s during a building boom in Jerusalem many public buildings were built in the city. The building was designed by the renowned architect, Eric Mendelsohn, who settled in Israel for a brief period during the thirties. He built a small number of public buildings and left his mark as one of the world’s greatest contemporary architects.
