Ein Ashkaf

Two pastoral water pools that overlook the forested views of the Jerusalem Mountains receive the pure water of the contact spring of  Ein Ashkaf, which is located on the western edge of the village of Even Sapir. The water pools themselves are dug into the rock on the mountain slope. The first pool that one sees is the smaller one which has trees surrounding it and giving it shade. Its water is relatively shallow and clean throughout the year. Further on, the second and larger pool  (its length is 6 meters and its width is 4.5 meters). It is full mainly in the winter and in the beginning of summer.
