Eden-Tamir Music Center

The Eden-Tamir Music Center is situated at Ein Kerem, a historic and picturesque suburb of Jerusalem. Founded in 1968 by the famed duo pianists Bracha Eden and Alexander Tamir, the Center is a focal point for musical activities, recitals and chamber concerts. Aided by world-renowned musicians such as Isaac Stern, Jan Peerce, Jennie Tourel, Claude Franck and Maureen Forester, it encourages and promotes young, gifted composers and performers. The wide scope of the Center’s activities encompass weekly concerts held by these talented musicians, symposia, seminars, live broadcasts and competitions, many of which are held in co-operation with international institutions. A important project of the Center is the Anglo-Israel Platform, which was founded with the idea of encouraging and helping young artists from Britain and Israel and giving them opportunities to perform outside their countries. Challenging for the disabled.
