Wohl Rose Garden

Urban Nature Survey Site No. 64. Public garden located opposite the Knesset and Government Hill, close to the Hebrew University Givat Ram Campus. Adjacent streets include Kaplan and Rothschild Blvd. Well tended complex of expansive open areas with a variety of natural indigenous vegetation and cultivated plants, mature trees, rock formations and a permanent water source. Serves as foraging ground for different types of animals. The site is home to a population of porcupines. Its permanent water source and a variety of food sources attract local birds, wintering and migratory, including species that are not common in the urban environment. Pedestrian, car, public transportation and wheelchair access, parking facilities available.
