Mt. Scopus East Scrublands 

Large and significant natural ensemble east of the National Watershed Line. Dense Mediterranean scrubland with agricultural plots and caves, including desert species such as sage. Planted strip along the highway near the Hebrew University has invasive species. Site has different types of mammals and a rabbit population. Hill on the eastern side serves as nesting ground for insects in spring. The area is rich in bird species and is also used in spring to hunt lesser kestrels and red falcons. Pedestrian, car, public transportation and wheelchair access, parking facilities available
