– The garden is situated on a main walkway in the heart of the Kiryat Shmuel neighborhood. Local residents succeeded in defeating plans to build a housing project on the site. They joined forces with the local community center and the Society for the Protection of Nature to clean up the area. Construction of the park began in 2005. A core group of activists was formed to plan, develop and maintain the park. Today the garden practices different methods of organic agriculture and permaculture. It includes natural forest trees, fruit trees, herb and vegetable garden beds, a compost area, and benches for relaxation. It also serves as a venue for hosting Jewish calendar events
Haviva Reich Lane and Brody Street.
