Hills Newsletter

Open natural range, part of the Cedar Valley. Two hills and a channel (River Iksa) north of Nahal Soreq, they planted forests, traditional agriculture, ruins, and cliffs. Agricultural landscape of the mountains of Jerusalem and a natural performances. Alona hills are surface enclosing the Cedar Valley to the north. Large area rich in a great variety of species, including the concentration of rare plants and endangered plants - like Valley Cedar River and Samuel Hill expects Naftuah. Important birding site all seasons, with a tea-loving songbirds low and tangles. Site also shows a variety of insects, reptiles and mammals - including Israeli deer, fox, porcupine - give and much more. The site is accessible pedestrians.

Near the northern - western part of Jerusalem, north of Cedar Valley. Not far from the village of Beit Iksa.
